PM Modi pays home to Mahatma Gandhi

Washington, Sept 30 (IBNS) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the statue of 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhi in Washington DC on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Modi will meet US President Barack Obama  for the official bilateral meeting in the White House.

Gandhi's birthday will be observed across India on Oct 2.

Modi will launch the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' on that day.
