New Delhi/UNI: As Opposition leaders continued their protests against the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning held a meeting with top ministers on the party's strategy for the Winter Session.

Prime Minister Modi also held a meeting with ministers on Wednesday morning over Parliament's functioning.

The meetings took place as Rajya Sabha continued to witness protests over the suspension of MPs and the Opposition leaders also staging a protest in the Parliament complex as well.

While an understanding with the Opposition was reached regarding the functioning of the Lok Sabha, the upper house continued to witness protests.

On Thursday, Opposition MPs came wearing black armbands, as a sign of protest.

The Winter Session of Parliament started on Nov 23, and a Bill to repeal three controversial Farm Laws was passed on the very first day of the session.
