PM Modi gifts miniature painting of tomb of poet Abdul Qadir Bedil to Tajikistan President
New Delhi, July 13 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon a specially commissioned miniature painting of the tomb of the 17th century Indian poet Abdul Qadir Bedil.
Bedil is regarded, especially in Tajikistan, as one the greatest masters of Persian poetry.
He was born in 1644 in India city of Patna.
Modi reached Tajikistan on Sunday.
