PM Modi congratulates Shinzo Abe on his victory in elections
New Delhi, Dec 15 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on his victory in the elections.
Modi said he has looked forward to continuing to work closely with him to strengthen the relations between India and Japan.
"Congratulations @AbeShinzo on your victory in the elections. Japan will scale newer heights of progress under your able leadership. I look forward to continuing to work closely with @AbeShinzo to strengthen the relations between India and Japan," Modi tweeted.
"I congratulate you @AbeShinzo for your election victory.Under your able leadership, Japan will scale new heights of progress & prosperity," he posted.
"Looking forward to working closely with @AbeShinzo to take India-Japan ties to the next level, benefiting both nations," the PM added.
