PM Modi congratulates Bajrang Punia for winning Gold in Asian Wrestling Championship

New Delhi, May 14 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Bajrang Punia for securing the Gold in Asian Wrestling Championship.


“Congratulations to Bajrang Punia for securing the Gold in Asian Wrestling Championship. India is very proud of his exemplary accomplishment,” the Prime Minister said.

Bajrang Punia clinched gold after winning the men’s 65kg final 6-2 against Seongchul Lee of Korea in the Asian wrestling championship here on Saturday.

London Olympics bronze medallist Yogeshwar Dutt was present to support Punia.
