PM expresses grief over the news of bus accident in Udhampur
"Disturbing news from J and K. Bus accident in Udhampur has saddened me. My thoughts are with families of the deceased. Prayers with the injured," Modi said.
"I have asked my ministerial colleague Dr. Jitendra Singh ji to stay in touch with authorities and ensure timely assistance", the Prime Minister said," he said.
At least 16 persons died and 20 others were injured, six of them critically, when a passenger bus in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into 400 feet deep gorge on Srinagar Jammu Highway, officials said on Monday.
