Pathankot railway station evacuated over bag threat
Pathankot, Jan 26 (IBNS) The railway station at Pathankot near the Punjab border with Pakistan is being evacuated after an abandoned bag sent alarm bell ringing, reports said.
Earlier this month, the air force base at Pathankot was attacked by Pakistani terrorists. Seven military personnel were martyred during the 80-hour battle.
A huge alert has been declared for Republic Day with security agencies warning of a "very real" ISIS threat. 14 suspected ISIS affiliates and sympathisers have been arrested from different parts of the country.
