Jammu/UNI: Pakistan troops on Saturday evening yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence spokesman here said that at about 2000 hours Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with Small Arms and shelling with Mortars along LoC in Mankote and Gulpur sectors of District Poonch.

“Indian Army retaliates befittingly to cross border firing while no injury or damage has been reported on own side so far,” he added.

On Friday also, Pakistan fired unprovoked and violated the ceasefire in Poonch District.
