One killed, two injured in Delhi road accident

New Delhi, Dec 9 (IBNS): At least one person was killed and two others seriously injured as a speeding Audi SUV hit a dumper truck late Monday night, media reports said.

The duo is now battling for life and one of them has also lost vision in one of his eye.

The accident took place in central Delhi’s Barakhambha Road.

Police said there were altogether four people inside the SUV who were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony.

According to reports, it took the police nearly a half an hour to pull the driver out of the vehicle. He was declared brought dead when taken to the nearby Ram Manohar Lohia hospital.
