One dead, 2 injured after fire breaks out in Mumbai's Ghatkopar

Mumbai: A fire broke out in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area, killing one person and injuring two others, the Mumbai Fire Service said.

According to the fire department, a fire broke out in Parekh Hospital in Mumbai' Ghatkopar area.

The fire started at an eatery in the four-storeyed building.

Two patients who were admitted in the hospital sustained minor injuries and were shifted and admitted to the local government hospital.

Four fire engines and four water tankers were engaged to douse the fire which was made under control around two hours after the incident .

According to reports, 22 patients who were admitted in the Hospital being shifted to another hospital after they complained of difficulty in breathing due to a fire incident.
