Ola cab driver arrested in Delhi for misbehaving with female passenger

New Delhi, Nov 4 (IBNS) A days after an Uber cab driver was sentenced to life for assaultinga woman passenger in Delhi in 2014, an Ola cab driver has been arrested on charges of misbehaving with a female passenger and her daughter, reports said.

According to police, the driver took a detour and that  sparked an argument with the passengers.  The driver demanded the complainant and her daughter exit the vehicle.

The woman then called the police and the driver was arrested  on charges of threat and intimidation.

On Tuesday, Uber cab driver Shiv Kumar Yadav, who was held guilty of raping a woman passenger in his vehicle and trying to strangulate her while committing the act, was sentenced to life by a Delhi court.
