Odd-Even extension: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to decide on Monday

New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: The final call on extending the Odd-Even scheme beyond Nov 15 will be taken on Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday.

While addressing a press conference here, Kejriwal said the idea of extending the Odd-Even scheme will be thought over and will be decided on Monday as weather forecasting agencies have suggested that due to some changes in weather and wind situation the pollution in the coming two to three days is likely to come down.

If weather conditions improve, Odd-Even will not be extended as the arrangement causes inconvenience to the people, he added.

Meanwhile, the national Capital continues to reel under 'severe' air with index value of 462 recorded this afternoon, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

People were seen wearing masks as they complained of itchy eyes, throat problems, overall uneasiness and trouble in breathing.
