Guwahati: Casio Laser LED Hybrid projectors were distributed to TAFMA empanelled Music institutes, TAFMA district partners and selected community based NGOs by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday at State banquet Hall, Kohima.

The project is an initiative of Casio India CSR program-Gyan Ki Roshni or Light of Knowledge.

At the outset, Rio thanked Casio India for the donation of 100 laser Hybrid projects.

He also congratulated the TAFMA for their initiative and relentless pursuit to propagate music even during the difficult times of pandemic.

He further appreciated the music institution for imparting training at the grassroots level even during the pandemic and stood strong and continue to inspire Nagaland through music.

He also applauded the TAFMA for their consistent building networks and rising partnership across the countries like Libya, Russia, USA and even signing MoU with Asian Music Connect.

He mentioned that, since the State Government has declared Music as an industry, everyone has so much responsibility to work for our children. Music industry is not only for leisure or for singing in some functions but music is a huge business which need to excel. Music has so much competition but so much potential and opportunities too, he added.

He further encouraged parents to give opportunity to their children as youths are our hope for tomorrow. Through music we can exhibit talent and people will come to know us.

He hoped that the recipients will make good use of the projects and enlighten the people, make children professional and continue to promote and empower the youths at the grassroot level.

He assured full support to partner and guide the artistic and creative pursuits of the youth and wish them the best in a joint venture to make Nagaland a centre of music.
