Narendra Modi wishes Amarinder Singh on his birthday

New Delhi, Mar 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on his birthday.

Singh turned 77.

Wishing the Punjab leader, Modi tweeted: " Greetings to Captain Amarinder Singh Ji on his birthday. Praying for his long and healthy life. @capt_amarinder."

Several people wished the Punjab CM on his birthday.

Sharing an image on his Twitter page, Singh posted: "A pleasure to meet the Officers and JCOs from my paltan 2 Sikh who called on me today to wish me on my birthday. Thankful to the entire Regiment for the love they have always showered on me. You will always remain a part of my family."

Singh has been serving as the CM since 2017.
