Narendra Modi praises Kuwait Heritage Society President Fahad Ghazi Alabduljaleel for preserving rare manuscripts

Indian PM Narendra Modi met Kuwait Heritage Society President Fahad Ghazi Alabduljaleel during his visit to the Gulf nation on Sunday when he praised him for preserving rare manuscripts related to the two nations.

Following his meeting, Modi posted on X: "In Kuwait, met Mr. Fahad Ghazi Alabduljaleel, who is respected for his passion towards culture and history. He also has an India connection, with his forefathers having linkages with Surat, Mumbai and Kozhikode."

Speaking on the meeting, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal wrote on X: "PM appreciated his work in preserving the rare manuscripts and artefacts related to & and in strengthening India-Kuwait historical connections."

Narendra Modi met top Kuwaiti leadership during his recent visit to the nation.

This was the first visit by an Indian PM to the Gulf Nation in 43 years.
