Narendra Modi pays tribute to CRPF jawans who died during 2019 Pulwama attack
New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Monday paid tributes to Indian Central Reserve Police Force jawans who were killed during a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama region in 2019.
Modi tweeted: "I pay homage to all those martyred in Pulwama on this day in 2019 and recall their outstanding service to our nation. Their bravery and supreme sacrifice motivates every Indian to work towards a strong and prosperous country."

On Feb 14, 2019, a local suicide bomber belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammad Adil Dar rammed his explosive-laden car into a CRPF bus at Lethpora Pulwama killing 40 personnel.
The attack was followed by the Balakote air strikes carried out by India against the terrorist launch pads in PoK. A day later Pakistan retaliated and it triggered a brief dogfight. The Pulwama attack had brought India and Pakistan to the brink of war.
