Colombo, May 12 (IBNS): Ending his Sri Lanka visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his journey towards India on Friday.

Modi called his visit to Sri Lanka as 'memorable'.

"Thank you Sri Lanka! This was a memorable visit, in which I got to take part in various programmes including Vesak Day celebrations," Modi tweeted.

He met top leaders of the country during the visit.
