Narendra Modi congratulates youngest Mt. Everest climber
New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated 13-year-old Malavath Purna for becoming the youngest female climber to scale the Mount Everest.
"Was very happy to read this. Congrats to our youngsters. They make us truly proud," Modi tweeted.
Sadhanapalli Anand Kumar accompanied Purna.
They climbed the peak after a 52-day-long expedition.
