New Delhi, July 29 (UNI): Delhi Congress unit has requested chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to name Signature bridge in the national capital after the former three-time CM Sheila Dikshit.

In a letter to Kejriwal on Monday, DPCC spokesperson Jitendra Kochar said the development work done by Dikshit during her 15-year journey as CM was historic and is remembered and acknowledged by all.

He said that the Signature bridge project was started under her supervision and the political void created after her demise can never be filled.

He further said keeping in mind her contributions in the development of Delhi, the Signature bridge should be named after her.
