Mumbai/IBNS: The security at Mumbai international airport was beefed up after authorities received a call, alerting them about the presence of explosives in a Dubai-Mumbai flight, Mumbai Police said.

According to media reports, the security at the airport was heightened but nothing was recovered from the plane, officials added.

"A phone call was received about the presence of RDX onboard a Dubai-Mumbai flight. Security was tightened at Mumbai International Airport following the call.
