Mulayam Singh Yadav's last rites in Saifai tomorrow

Lucknow/UNI: The last rites of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav will be held at his native village Saifai in Etawah district at 3 pm Tuesday.

It was confirmed by the party he founded in October 1992.

"Respected Netaji passed away at Medanta hospital today on October 10, 2022.

"His body is being taken to Saifai. Last rites will be performed in Saifai at 3 pm tomorrow on October 11, 2022," the party tweeted.

Mulayam passed away Monday morning at the Medanta hospital in Gurugram at the age of 82.

He was ill for the last few days.
