MP askes BMC to demolish ramp in front of Shah Rukh's house

Mumbai, Feb 3 (IBNS) Poonam Mahajan, the BJP MP from Mumbai North Central, has written to the Bombay Municipal Corporation, asking for demolition of the ramp in front of actor Shah Rukh Khan's bugalow Mannat in Bandra.

Reports said on Tuesday that the letter, sent on January 29, was written on the basis of complaints of local residents.

Mahajan, however, did not take the name of the actor in her letter.

The residents have reportedly complained to the BMC more than once, saying the ramp is illegally constructed.

It is also alleged that the ramp is often used by Shah Rukh to park his vanity van, encroaching on the road in front of his bungalow.

The resident wanted BMC to reclaim the road, being 'encroached upon' by the actor.
