More than 2500 Indians evacuated from Nepal: Singh

New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said more than 2500 Indians have been evacuated from earthquake-hit Nepal.

"More than 2500 Indians have been evacuated from Nepal and arrangements are being for the rest to reach here," Singh said in the Parliament.

He said 72 people have died in the quake in India.

Feeble tremors continued rock as the death toll from Saturday's massive earthquake which hit the Himalayan nation has crossed 3200 on Monday, reports said.

At 4:02:35 hrs IST, another 'slight' tremor,measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale, has hit Nepal, the India Meteorological Department website said.

A 7.9 earthquake had hit the country on Saturday.
