Mohammad Shahabuddin in CBI custody for question in Journalist murder case

New Delhi, May 29 (IBNS) : The CBI on Monday took custody of Bihar strongman and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Shahabuddin, an accused in journalist Rajdeo Ranjan murder case, reports said.

Shahabuddin was lodged in Tihar prison.

On Friday, CBI had named Shahabuddin as an accused in the murder case. A

He was was produced in the court of special judge Anupam Kumari in Muzaffarpur through video-conferencing facility.

The agency has told a Muzaffarpur court that Shahabuddin nees to be questioned in custody as his name has cropped up in the case.

The court granted CBI taking custody of Shahabuddin.
