Modi writes to Pak PM on National Day

New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wrote to his Pakistani counterpart as the neighbouring nation is celebrating the National Day of Pakistan.

Modi tweeted: "I have written to Pakistan PM Mr. Nawaz Sharif, conveying my greetings on the National Day of Pakistan."

He said that it was his firm 'conviction' that  all outstanding issues between the two nations could be resolved through bilateral dialogue.

"It is my firm conviction that all outstanding issues can be resolved through bilateral dialogue in an atmosphere free from terror & violence," Modi said.
