Modi thanks Sharif for gifting his mother sari

New Delhi, June 5 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif for gifting his mother a white sari.

"Nawaz Sharif ji has sent a wonderful white Sari for my Mother. I am really grateful to him & will send it to my Mother very soon," Modi tweeted.

Modi had earlier gifted a shawl to Sharif's mother.

Sharif had attended Modi's oath-taking ceremony in New Delhi last week.
