Chennai, Apr 13 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi met southern superstar Rajinikanth at his residence in Chennai on Sunday.
The meeting has political significance as it is seen as a support of the superstar for Modi though Rajinikanth only wished Modi and hugged him while maintaining that there is nothing political about it.

The actor, however, called Modi a strong leader and administrator.

Later in the day, Modi  addressed an election rally in Chennai.

With reports of Modi meeting Rajnikanth coming to fore, the media buzz is that the superstar might campaign for him in the Lok Sabha elections.
