Modi greets nation on Akshaya Tritiya

New Delhi, Apr 21 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished the country on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

"I am wishing you all on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Let this festival brings in happiness, prosperity and success in your life," Modi tweeted.

Akshaya Tritiya, also known as Akha Teej, is a holy day for Hindus and Jains.

It is an auspicious day of the birthday of Lord Parasurama who is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
