Modi-fest is an initiative to achieve the dream of making of developed India, says Suresh Prabhu

Kolkata, June 10 (IBNS): Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated Modi-fest, the making of developed India in Howrah on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, Prabhu said that Modi fest is an initiative to achieve the dream of making of developed India.

The country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making all-round development in the country.

The government is committed to work hard to root out poverty and various social problems that are creating impediments in the path of development, he added.

The PM has adream of doubling the farmers’ income by 2022. Highlighting the achievement of Indian Railways in the last three years, Prabhu said that Rs. 375,000 crore have been invested to improve its condition and several infrastructure-related works have been started to accelerate the speed of trains so that the India Railways can reach new heights.

The Modi-fest has been organized at Gulmohar Maidan where a total of 10 stalls highlighting several welfare schemes have been put up to provide information to the viewers..People in large numbers are coming to visit Modi-fest which will continue till Monday, 12th, June, 2013 at the site.
