Mayawati slams Peace Party chief for derogatory statements against Muslim clerics
Lucknow/UNI: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday slammed Peace Party president Ayub and sought his unconditional apology for giving derogatory statements against Muslim clerics.
In a tweet, Mayawati said that the statement given as advertisement by Dr Ayub is derogatory and a person, who advocated for Muslim-Dalit unity, should seek unconditional apology.

Meanwhile, Dr Ayub was arrested on Friday night by Lucknow police
The case was registered for inciting religious sentiments.
