Manoj Tiwari welcomes Bedi to BJP

New Delhi, Jan 19 (IBNS): BJP leader Manoj Tiwari denied any difference within the party over the inclusion of Kiran Bedi and said she is 'welcomed' in the political outfit.

"We have welcomed her in the party. However, she has not been declared as a CM candidate of the party," Tiwari told reporters.

He reportedly made the remarks after allegedly being ordered by the party's top leadership.

He said he did not criticise the former top cop.

"If party selects somebody as the CM candidate for Delhi then we will accept it," Tiwari said.

"I don't think she will be named as the CM candidate

Tiwari had earlier said Bedi will not be projected as the party's CM candidate for the Del;hi Assembly polls.

"I don't think the party will project her as the CM candidate," he had said.

"She has joined the party. She is like a party worker and she should be taken that way," the actor had earlier told media.

According to media reports, Tiwari had earlier called her a "thanedaar" or policeman and said she was not welcome in the party.

Bedi had joined the party recently.
