| @indiablooms | May 02, 2020, at 12:58 pm

Imphal/UNI: Manipur is totally free from Corona virus after two positive cases turned negative.

The entire state is in the green zone and hence more activities will be seen after May 4.

Eightyfour people who were taking shelter in Manipur Bhawan, Guwahati, reached here today . Four buses were sent to bring them back.

All of them were screened at the border at Mao, Senapati district. They will undergo all the necessary tests before they were allowed to go back to their homes.

The state government has started collecting data of all stranded people in other states. For convenience the data will be collected for all 60 constituencies and senior officials have been assigned for different states.

For people stranded in far off places a different mechanism will be worked out while all those people in nearby states, bus will be used.
