Sonbhadra/UP/IBNS/UNI: Two persons were arrested by the police on Thursday after a video of a man urinating in the ear of a Tribal youth in Jugail area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh went viral on social media, a police officer said here.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Yash Veer Singh said that the video is two day old.

"Jawahir Patel and Gulab Kol, both residents of Ghatita village, had a dispute while consuming liquor on June 11. During the dispute Jawahir thrashed Gulab and urinated in his ear," he said.

He said that initially the victim was unaware of the incident as he was under the influence of liquor.

"He came to know about the incident when some persons, who made a video of the incident, made it viral on social media on Thursday," he said.

Police sources said that after getting the information the SP along with Circle Officer (CO) Charu Dwivedi and heavy police force reached the village and inquired about the incident.

The SP said that a complaint has been taken from Gulab Kol on the basis of which a case is being lodged. "The accused Jawahir and his accomplice have been arrested," he said.
