Kolkata, Feb 16 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday unveiled the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme in Kolkata.

The scheme is aimed for the betterment of school dropouts.

The logo of the scheme has been designed by Banerjee.

"Utkarsh implies a mission and a vision to be successful and to transform our lives," she said.

"Utkarsh Bangla will also ensure that the students get the opportunity of campus placements after their training," she said.

Banerjee said 68 lakh unemployed youth have been given jobs in the last four years of her tenure in the state.
