Major fire breaks out in Mumbai furniture godown

Mumbai/UNI: A major fire broke out in a furniture godown located in Mumbai's suburban Jogeshwari, officials said.

No casualty has been reported so far.

According to fire bridge sources, 10 fire tenders were engaged to douse the fire which was made under control hours after it was first reported.

The fire was reported at 11 am. A furniture godown at Ghas Compound, Relief Road caught fire.

It is yet to be ascertained what caused the fire. Meanwhile, an activist claimed that the fire was caused by a cylinder blast.
