Main accused in Kolkata twin shootout nabbed

Kolkata, Jun 27 (IBNS): The Kolkata Police on Sunday midnight arrested four persons, including the main accused, in connection with the twin shootout incident in Kolkata's Entally area, reports said.
According to reports, four accused- Md. Bapi, Md. Kalo, Shamim Ahmed and Shakil Hossain- were arrested from Murali Ghoshpara village under Duttapukur Police Station area in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. Several fire arms were seized from their possession as well.
 
Earlier on June 16, bullets were fired twice in an interval of thirty minutes over a local building's promoting conflict at Bibir Bagan and Motijhil areas under Entally Police Station limits in north Kolkata.
 
Two local men- Sheikh Aslam and Shamshad Ali- were shot in Bibir Bagan and Motijhil firing incidents respectively.
 
After starting probe into the matter, police earlier booked three more suspects- Dipak Das alias Sukhen, Zamil Ahmed alias Niyaju and Imran Alam alias Arjun- and they are in police custody.
