Maharashtra wedding turns violent as groom stabbed on stage! Videographer chases attacker with drone

A joyous wedding celebration in Maharashtra’s Amravati district turned chaotic on Monday when a man stabbed the groom multiple times on stage, only to be chased by the wedding videographer using a drone camera.

The attacker, identified as Ragho Jitendra Bakshi, allegedly stabbed groom Sajal Ram Samudra (22) three times in front of stunned guests before fleeing the venue.

According to police, the videographer, who was filming the ceremony, acted swiftly and redirected his drone to follow the fleeing suspect.

The dramatic chase continued for nearly two kilometres, tracking Bakshi and another man as they tried to escape on a motorcycle.

Authorities have since seized the drone footage, which they say provided crucial evidence in identifying the accused and tracing their escape route.

Initial investigation suggests the stabbing stemmed from a minor altercation during a DJ dance earlier in the evening.

Police told the media that the accused became enraged after the quarrel and later attacked the groom during the ceremony.

Samudra was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be stable, officials added.

Police have launched a manhunt for the accused, and the footage from the drone has been pivotal in piecing together the sequence of events leading to the attack.
