Beed/UNI: The movement for the Maratha reservation has now reached a violent turn, and it has had the biggest repercussions in Beed district.

The protests have taken a fierce form since midnight on Sunday. Due to damage to public and private property, District Collector and Magistrate Deepa Mudhol Munde has imposed an immediate curfew at eight o'clock on Monday night.

However, after the Chief Minister's meeting, these restrictions have been further extended.

Internet services will be shut down in Beed until November 1. Also, 5 units of SRPF have entered Beed. Several buses at Beed ST Depot were vandalized at night.

Marathwada Range Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chavan has entered Beed to monitor the situation.

According to the curfew order, this order will remain in force on all national highways from Beed district headquarters and all taluka headquarters up to a limit of five kilometers till further orders.

A bandh has been called on Tuesday in Satara district to support Manoj Jarange Patil's movement in Satara.

In the bandh called on Tuesday, everything except essential facilities in Satara district will remain closed.

The coordinators of the Maratha Kranti Morcha have appealed to carry out this bandh very peacefully.

Maratha agitators set arson near Khandali Pati in Mohol taluka of Solapur. Maratha protesters had blocked the highway by burning tires on the Solapur-Pune highway.

Due to the blocking of the Solapur-Pune highway, the traffic was stopped for some time. Also, the bus from Pimpri Chinchwad to Pandharpur has been burnt.

The passengers of this bus were alighted, after which the bus was set on fire.
