Maharashtra: Four killed in road accident in Buldhana district

Aurangabad, Jun 23 (UNI) Three members of a family were among four people, who were killed, when their jeep collided with a container coming from opposite direction near Anjani Kurd village on Nagpur-Auranagabad highway in Buldhana district, police said here on Sunday.

According to police, the accident took place on Saturday night, when members of Kshirsagar family, hailing from Kannad town, were returning home from Washim in Vidharbha region in a jeep.


The collision was so severe that all the occupants of the jeep died on the spot.

 

The deceased were identified as Manohar Kshirsagar (70), Nalini Kshirsagar (66), Megha Kshirsagar (35) and jeep driver Sukdev Nagare (25).


Police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Mehkar rural hospital for post-mortem, they added.
