Maharashtra: Alcoholic man allegedly killed by wife, minor son

A married man was allegedly murdered by his wife and son in Maharashtra’s Nashik district as they were fed up of his alcoholism, police said on Friday.

According to police, a complaint was lodged in the Nandgaon police station that Usha Sanjay Gaikwad and her son Avinash Sanjay Gaikwad conspired to beat the deceased Sanjay Ganesh Gaikwad at night in Nyaydongari village because he was drinking alcohol On Thursday night.

Usha Gaikawad threw chilli powder into her husband’s eyes and Avinash tied a nylon rope around his father's neck and killed him.

A case has been registered in Nandgaon police station.

Both the accused have been arrested. Avinash Sanjay Gaikwad, being a minor, has been sent to a juvenile correctional home.
