Maharashtra: 10 die in road accidents on Sinnar-Shirdi highway

Mumbai/UNI: Ten people died on the spot while 25 were injured seriously when their private luxury bus collided with a goods truck on the Sinnar-Shirdi Highway on Friday morning.

The accident took place near the Ishaneshwar temple in Pathare Shivara phata on Sinner Shirdi road this morning.

A private bus going from Mumbai to Shirdi and a cargo truck going from Shirdi to Sinnar collided head on, police said.

According to information about 50 passengers from Ambernath Thane area were travelling to Shirdi in this bus.

The 15 buses had left from Ulhasnagar for Sai Darshan. A terrible accident had occurred in one of the buses. The bus was completely destroyed in the accident.

It has also been reported that more than 25 passengers in the bus were injured and have been admitted to hospitals in Sinnar and Nashik for treatment.
