Puducherry, Mar 23 (UNI) Manavar Ilanjar Munnetra Iyyakkam’ (MIMI),a congregation of students and youths, on Saturday extended support to Congress Candidate V Vaithilingam who is contesting the April 18 Lok Sabha election from Puducherry.

In a statement here, MIMI President Anbarasan and Secretary Jerrygovan pointed out the demonetization of higher value currencies and failure of the BJP-led NDA government to provide jobs to youths and said the NDA government at the centre since the last five years was “anti-people” and one which cared for the welfare of multi-millionaires only.

The N R Congress which forged an alliance last time gave an assurance to waive the Rs 4500 crore loan of the Union Territory and won the Lok Sabha election.

The N R Congress member R Radhakrishnan is the only member who never opened his mouth in the Lok Sabha about the issues of Puducherry ,they said and added that hence, the MIMIK has decided to support Mr.Vaithilingam this time and to vote for the congress.
