Liquor laden truck overturns in Assam

Guwahati/IBNS: A liquor laden truck had met with an accident at Sepon area in Assam on Thursday.

The truck overturned on the road and following the incident many people had rushed to the spot to loot the liquor bottles.

A video that went viral on social media showed that many people were seen to lift liquor bottles from the toppled truck.

Some people travelling through the area had stopped their vehicles and looted the liquor bottles.

Later, local police had reached the area and recovered some liquor bottles from the truck.

Meanwhile, police have started an investigation, but no person has been detained so far.
