Kulbhushan Jadhav: Pakistan Army Chief meets PM Nawaz Sharif
Sources added that the PM was briefed on the latest situation regarding RAW agent Jadhav’s case as well as the recent border issues with Afghanistan, Geo News reported.
India on Wednesday said it had no other option but to approach the International Court of Justice to secure justice for Kulbhushan Jadhav, whose life was under threat.
"We were forced to approach the ICJ after 16 consular requests to the Pakistan Government was denied," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Gopal Baglay said.
His statement came after ICJ ruled against the hanging order of Jadhav, an alleged Indian 'spy', in Pakistan.
India appealed to the ICJ following Jadhav's death sentence by a Pakistani military court.
Jadhav, a retired naval officer, was arrested by Pakistan last year.

Found guilty of 'spying', he was given a death sentence by Field General Court Martial in Pakistan last month.
The MEA spokesman further said that India had no information either regarding Jadhav’s health or whereabouts.
So far, the Pakistan Government has not officially responded to ICJ’s stay on Jadhav's death sentence. However, the local media, which was initially slow to respond, rejected India's claim.
While news channel Geo TV said that the ICJ has no jurisdiction over Pakistan, Express Tribune did not report the stay order. Dawn online also ignored the stay order and did not report about it.
