Kozhikode: Fire breaks out in jewellery shop, 4 injured, vehicles gutted

Kozhikode/UNI: Four persons sustained minor injuries and vehicles parked in the basement were gutted in a fire that broke out in a jewellery shop at Parayancherry near here on Saturday noon.

Sources said the vehicles which were gutted completely include seven bikes and three cars. Few vehicles were rescued from fire with partial damages.

Thanks to the timely intervention of locals and fire & rescue team, a major disaster was averted wothout any human casualty.

Fireand Rescue officials said the fire errupted from the wooden wastes that were piled up in the basement of the multi-storied building.
