Kolkata: Fire in New Market area brought under control
Kolkata, May 18 (IBNS): The fire that broke out in Kolkata's iconic New Market area on Monday has been brought under control.
At least 21 fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control.
The fire swept through the old fish and vegetable market, reports said.
The cause of the fire is still not known.
No casualty has been reported so far.
On Apr 26, fire had broke out at a departmental shop beside New Market called 'Citi Mart'.
