Kerala: Four suffer sun stroke

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 26 (UNI) Four people suffered sun stroke in Kerala on Tuesday.

According to the sources, one person each from Udayanapuram, Pattithanam, Kurumallur, Muttambalam in Kottayam district respectively suffered the sun stroke.


In Udayanapuram, a booth committee president of United Democratic Front, Arun, was admitted to a nearest hospital following the sunstroke on his face, sources further said.


A worker identified as Sekhar suffered the heat stroke at Muttambalam.


Three persons suffered sun stroke on Monday. One person each from Thodupuzha, Vaikom and Kumarakom were hospitalized due to burns.


Earlier, three persons died of sun stroke in Kerala on Sunday. About 10 persons suffered sunstroke on that day. Nearly 125 people suffered sun stroke till this date in this month.
