Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal presented the full budget of the CPI(M) government at the Legislative Assembly here on Friday.

This is the second full budget of the CPI(M)-led government which came back to power for the second consecutive term by winning 99 seats out of the 140 Assembly seats in 2021, compared to 91 seats in the 2016 Assembly election, altering the four-decades-long electoral tradition in Kerala

The government takes bold steps to mobilise additional resources without burdening the commoners in view of the current economic slowdown, the minister said.
