Kejriwal transfers nine bureaucrats
Kejriwal, who has been in combat with the central govewrnment over his powers said the verdict is a "huge embarrassment" for the centre.
Kejriwal's recent standoff with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung over primacy prompted the centre to demarcate the areas of power for the two top men though the act is being seen heavily in favour of Jung, who had announced that the appointment of bureaucrats was his sole prerogative.
The Lieutenant Governor said last week that any postings of bureaucrats directed by the Chief Minister are invalid.
Kejriwal alleged that the BJP-led centre was trying to run the Delhi administration through the Lieutenant Governor bypassing an elected Government.
At a public meeting called in a park in the heart of Delhi on Monday, Kejriwal vowed that he would "limit the powers of the Centre in this term."
