Kashmir: Youth injured by gunmen succumbs in Srinagar hospital

Srinagar/UNI: A 24-year-old youth who was shot at and critically wounded by unidentified gunmen in the city outskirts on Dec 1, succumbed in the hospital on Wednesday, official sources said.

Nadif Hanief Khan was critically wounded when unidentified gunmen fired at him from very close near his Bilal Colony, Soura house on Dec 1.

However, he was immediately rushed to nearby S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).

The youth finally lost the battle and succumbed this morning.

Police have already registered a case and taken up the investigation.

However, the attackers were still at large, the sources said.
